Baking Bonds Animation

This work was submitted for N.E.mation 2025 and won Special Mention.

In an HDB corridor, a kind gesture sparks a lifelong bond between neighbours. Michael and his mother reach out to grieving Sofia and her father with cookies, starting a friendship that grows across cultures and years. Now adults, Sofia and Michael pass this legacy to the next generation, showing how simple acts of kindness embody Singapore’s Social Defence, fostering unity and shared understanding.

This work incorporates both 3D elements (Environment) and 2D animation (Characters) into a cohesive and meaningful animation.
